Hello and welcome to ✨TEAM EMMY✨! We're thrilled to have you check out our team page and wanted to share a bit about our girl. Emmy is 10 years old and is as special as she is sweet. She loves animals, dressing up, devouring chocolate, swimming with her little sister, and taking trips to visit family around the country. She's quiet when you first meet her but once you've earned her trust, you'll find that she's very witty, has an extra big heart, and her smile can light up the room. We have loved visiting Disney each year to not only get to know fellow A-T families but also to connect with those who are willing to help us find a cure. We have found so much hope in the A-T Children's Project and their endeavors to find a cure but we need your help to make our dreams come true! WHAT IS A-T?

Imagine a disease that combines the worst symptoms of muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, immune deficiencies, and cancer. Children with A-T are usually confined to wheelchairs by age 10 and often do not survive their teens. Because A-T is a multi-system disease, scientists believe that A-T research will help more prevalent diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, AIDS, and cancer.
